Remote Online Notary

For instances where a signer and notary cannot meet in person, the State of Louisiana enacted Bill 274 in February 2022. This legislation made remote online notarization legal. The signer may be anywhere in the world and appear virtually, via a platform with audio and visual capabilities, for the notary to witness the signing.

About Me

In 2001, I became a notary public for St. Martin Parish, Louisiana. I currently live in Lafayette and am duly commissioned and qualified for Lafayette Parish with jurisdiction in Acadia, St. Landry and Vermilion Parishes. I am RON (Remote Online Notary) certified and in the process of selecting a technology provider to be able to facilitate signing more efficiently and conveniently for my customers. In the meantime, I can perform traditional notary duties.
